Re: the xdg base directory specification for gutsy
I have no idea what you're asking... we use ~/.config now, and the spec listed is also ~/.config

Re: When will there be deluge search engines?
Yes, Deluge doesn't display the search results in the client itself, but it will open the search page for your query. I would suggest finding a good tracker and adding it's engine, and I'm sure someone here can help you with that.

Re: 5.2 appears to be useless
Hi,
As others have pointed out, I don't think you understand what a Torrent client is. You first need to find a .torrent file from one of the many bittorrent tracker sites on the internet, and then open it with Deluge in order to download anything.

Really? since when? I'd been making an effort to keep PyGTK 2.8 compatibility, as Ubuntu Dapper also uses it.markybob wrote:this is most likely an error having to do with pygtk < 2.10. we require => 2.10

Running Deluge 0.5.1 from Ubuntu packages. Last night I paused a torrent after 51% and wanted to restart this today. It starts nice, but after a few seconds goes back to paused. While the Start/Pause button remains on paused.

Ok, I'll try and look into this. In the meantime, I would advise that you simply don't use the plugin
