Re: deluge on xubuntu

xubuntu is a great choice - it has a sleek and fast feel to it. It and deluge should run beautifully on your P3.

the only complaint I had against xubuntu was that compositing isn't really easy to get working but I'm sure you're not gonna need to worry about that :P

Re: Does Deluge work without X?

Currently deluge can't run without X but I think this is planned for version 0.6

in the meantime you could check out rTorrent, it's built on the same backend as deluge (libtorrent) and is a text-based client.

Re: deluge 0.5.6.2:Lots of seeds, No connections

does that happen even when deluge isn't downloading at all (or downloading at low speeds)? it's normal to notice a delay when browsing the web if deluge is downloading at high speeds in the background (you have limited bandwidth and deluge is hogging it  ), for instance I normally have trou...

Re: FlexRSS plugin

I think FlexRSS requires the filter for TV Shows to have %s & %e, even if you're not restricting the history? I say this because all of my TV Show filters worked perfectly the first week when I created them but then the next week although they would match an RSS item they wouldn't download it. A...

Re: UPNP

No you should still care.

UPnP is supposed to automatically forward your ports, but it doesn't always work depending on the router.
If the port is always closed, you'd be best manually forwarding your port.

Re: Scheduler fails

yellow is the limit state (i.e. it limits your downloads/uploads by the settings chosen in the scheduler preferences).
change it to red to make it not transfer at all.
