Re: deluge-daemon script not working in karmic
Hi guys I've got a vanilla installation of Karmic, and I've tried following the instructions, but to no avail :(. I'm running the repo version, 1.1.9. I didn't use the deluge user, instead changing it to my generic login in /etc/default/deluge-daemon, but that didn't work. When I execute the script,...

Re: Running Deluge from terminal
the 0.5 branch doesn't support being run without a head (i.e. you can't run it over ssh). you need to get the latest version from the download page . Ahh I see :( Is there any way I can tell my machine to run it as though I was there, though? So it will come up on the desktop's screen etc (not my s...

Re: Running Deluge from terminal
Hi all I'm at work and I've SSH'd into my home machine, and I'm trying to get Deluge to run. I get a string of errors about gtk, and the thing seems to stop. I've tried the --ui null and --ui web command line options but I get an error saying --ui isn't an option. I'm a bit of a noob with the termi...

Blocklist number of IPs
Hi all
I'm using this blocklist with the plugin:
http://www.bluetack.co.uk/config/nipfilter.dat.gz
But it appears only to block ~238,000 IPs. PeerGuardian on Windows blocks upwards of 700,000,000. Is this something to be worried about?

Blocklist Importer problem
Hello all I activated the Blocklist importer plugin and mistakenly added a URL to a php file, and now I cannot change the URL to something else (e.g. http://www.bluetack.co.uk/config/proxy.gz). Whenever I enable the plugin it shows a window trying to download the original URL, and even when I close/...
