Do I need To Update Twisted - Got A Deprecation Warning

I just compiled 1.3.0 in Slackware 13.1 32bit and when I run deluge-gtk at the terminal I get this: /usr/lib/python2.6/site-packages/twisted/internet/_sslverify.py:4: DeprecationWarning: the md5 module is deprecated; use hashlib instead import itertools, md5 Do I need to update twisted to get rid of...

1.3.0_rc2 DeprecationWarning

So I just compiled 1.3.0_rc2 on my Slackware box and when running 'deluge-gtk' I get this DeprecationWarning: sar@slackware:~$ deluge-gtk /usr/lib/python2.6/site-packages/twisted/internet/_sslverify.py:4: DeprecationWarning: the md5 module is deprecated; use hashlib instead import itertools, md5 So ...

1.3.0 RC1 Is Using 100% CPU In Linux

Well I was excited to install the RC but then to my surprise it ran my box at a constant 100% on the CPU while seeding. I don't know if it would do this on a download as well, I had completed a torrent on another client and decided to continue seeding it on Deluge to test it out I'm running Slackwar...

[Feature Request] Possible To Change GTK+ Behaviour?

I noticed today using Deluge 1.3.0 RC1 that when I'm using a GTK+ theme called WoW, that when I click on the torrent in the main window to highlight it, that the theme doesn't just let the words to be highlighted in just a color it actually gets a themed look to it. All though different it's not wha...

Is It Possible To Code Deluge With Another Language/Toolkit?

I'm a Linux geek so I know GTK very well, but to me this is the Unix/Linux world not the Windows environment. GTK was originally designed for X Windows and of course over the years has been ported to Windows. Now bloat, for what that subject is worth, still means something to some people. For me hav...

Re: Anyway To Start Deluge Without DOS Prompt Always Popping

Well thanks to a friend I learned a trick. ;)

Have a look: (At least a trick until the developers make a more permanent fix.)

Anyway To Start Deluge Without DOS Prompt Always Popping Up?

I hate how when Deluge starts you get the DOS prompt popping up first in your face.

Is there a way to silence this?

Can I Make A Suggestion?

One let me first start out by saying I'm really happy for whoever is developing Deluge. I'm a Linux geek and I love using and supporting open-source projects like this, that is why I don't like using uTorrent, because I don't care if it's free if it's proprietary, especially with something like file...
