It would be really helpful if I could install it without having to compile it from source twice.

Thanks

Re: New Install cannot associate magnet links to Deluge

I think it depends on your desktop environment. I use KDE and had to make my own magnet handler: cat ~/.kde/share/kde4/services/magnet.protocol [Protocol] exec=deluge-gtk "%U" protocol=magnet input=none output=none helper=true listing=false reading=false writing=false makedir=false deletin...

Re: Rehashing after reboot

I'm not realy understand for what deluge change state on shutting down? Why? Deluge saves state when shutting down. That's how it knows what has downloaded and what hasn't when it starts up. If it can't save state and keep track of where it's at with its downloads it has to check hashes on every st...

Re: Rehashing after reboot

Are your deluge config files on the USB drive? Sounds to me like deluge isn't saving state on shutdown.

Re: Rehashing after reboot

check your logs. Is there anything about the drive in boot.log?

Does it rehash if you manually shut down deluge before rebooting?

Re: Download halts with seeds - required daemon restart

I'm running deluged 1.3.6 on ubuntu 12.04 without any of these problems, so rest assured that it can work.

Please do post your debug log and a backtrace.

Sounds like it could be a libtorrent problem to me - what version do you have installed?

Re: deluge-daemon crashing

Does the deluged running account have write access to the /var/log/deluge dir?

Also, if you're telling it to log with -l then also tell it a log level with -L

eg -L debug

Does 1.3.6 support libtorrent 16? I thought we were still having to use 0.15.10

Is the OS marking the flash drive clean when you reboot?
