Re: [Unofficial] Deluge 2.0.x installer

Hi, Thanks for reporting! I have not seen such an error before, but please note the latest versions that we provide here: https://drive.google.com/drive/u/2/folders/1bCwij_GEy8nhqR6EynXYY_Yl7XuWYpVT are 2.0.4dev38 and Python 3.8.3 is bundled with that. Does that still crash for you? Did you try it c...

Re: [Unofficial] Deluge 2.0.x installer

Is this the ssh config? As far as I remember the -L deluge command line option is for setting log level, e.g.: Deluge.exe -L warning Hi! I tried searching the thread for anything like it, but couldn't find anyone with the same issue. I connect to my remote Deluge instance through an ssh tunnel with ...

Re: [Unofficial] Deluge 2.0.x installer

One thing that might be improved is that when I was using the "Install Plugin" feature, I noticed that I cannot just copy in a location, you can only navigate to it. For whatever reason, this meant I couldn't navigate to a hidden folder, like %appdata%. This really is not a windows instal...

Re: [Unofficial] Deluge 2.0.x installer

Hi MHerz, I have been reading up on this in the libtorrent github issue discussions: this is the default behavior, you have to bind it to your vpn interface or ip address only to makes sure this does not happen.
It's even part of the wiki: https://dev.deluge-torrent.org/wiki/UserGuide/VPN

New release!

Created a patch to swallow the AttributeError because of not having the signal SIGWINCH on Windows in Python windows-curses. Now you can run: deluge-console.exe status deluge-console.exe info etc. https://dev.deluge-torrent.org/ticket/3409 is the ticket submitted with a patch for this. I hope this ...

Re: [Unofficial] Deluge 2.0.x installer

Hi mherz, The update to the first post here is great, thanks! As for libtorrent: I still only regularly rebuild 1.2.x and 1.1.x, but monitoring the libtorrent repo most of the activities there are already are in preparation for the 2.0 release that will have support for the new, more secure torrent ...

New release!

The default ncurses in Python is not supported (and does not work) on Windows. Try to include windows-curses 2.1.0 in the hope to revive that - it should have a hack to make it work (thanks for the report @mystikfox!) EDIT: not it no longer misses ncurses itself, but that the module 'signal' has no...

Re: [Unofficial] Deluge 2.0.x installer

Thanks, will replace that too in the next releases. Actually windows-nurses already added, and some more last meaningful variable names, but I want to make comprehensive slimming as well in the next release. Can you please give me the issue URL to trwck for that? Other plans include boost and libtor...

Re: [Unofficial] Deluge 2.0.x installer

Thanks mystikfox for reporting! This is kind of beyond the installer, that Deluge uses a module that is not included in Python proper on Windows, but let's try to find a solution. Thanks for the comments MHerz, Any chance you have found the same as me? https://pypi.org/project/windows-curses/ How do...

Re: [Unofficial] Deluge 2.0.x installer

GTK3: oh, so the latest stable release is indeed 3.24.20 - we are good then, thanks. Patch creating a patch with is then applied by another patch: thanks for the explanation, got it now. About the cleanup: yes, the simple delete-all-you-can approach could work as well as long as all necessary...
