Re: Notification not working
I have seen this, but have not answered you because I don't use notifications and have no idea what the logs are saying.

Re: Why was Linux prioritized over Windows
Might we be looking at weeks or months for the windows version? Has their been progress towards this? Or are we waiting for something that's out of 'our' hands, i.e. not something Cas can fix, but something the libs need fixing. The explanation for this delay isn't that clearly explained. If it was...

I have my Manjaro set to keep Deluge at 1.3.15. You could downgrade your deluge and then keep it blocked from updates.

This can happen with media files if your audio / video players are changing the meta data or the tags associated with the files.

Re: Copy torrent from one host to another?
Have you looked into using the daemon / thin client setup? That will allow you to run a single deluge service on 1 computer and then allow all other computers on your network to connect to the single instance of deluge.

Are you sure you had the deluge daemon disabled when you copied your profile over?

Re: How to Run Deluge
Each distribution has things set up slightly different. I don't use CentOS So I can't comment on the specifics of it, but I did find this guide with a quick google search.

You could download the .torrent again and then start it in the stopped state and do a force recheck.

It should just update if you install a newer version over top of an older version. If you want to play it safe you can make a copy of your config folder.
Mac saves its config file in .config/deluge inside of your user home folder.
The code numbers you see are actually the torrent hashes.

Re: Deluge Download Location Permissions
I think you need to set the owner/group to deluge for the mount point. It looks like /mnt/PiHDD is owned by "me". Deluge would not be able to write there.
