Re: [Unofficial] Deluge 2.0.x installer
Hi Folks, I just wanted to give you an update in future directions: Now we have deluge2 built with the latest Boost, Libtorrent, OpenSSL, Python, GTK there is not much else to do, I just keep watching the projects Libtorrent 1.2.7 was released 9 days ago, I am not expecting a new minor version for a...

Installer size
Hi MHerz, Another mid-term idea I have is to work on reducing the installer size. Have you tried to e.g. run deluge in a sysinternals process monitor for instance to figure out what are all the files actually used by deluge, deluged, thin-client, deluge-web and so on... and delete the rest! What do ...

New release!
Okay, I have figured out the root cause: When I had put C:\Program Files\deluge2 and C:\Program Files\deluge2\scripts in PATH and switched python and pip invocations from full path to commands only.... that broke the build of the deluge plugins. Instead if using full path again or patching up setup....

Re: [Unofficial] Deluge 2.0.x installer
Have you received the error: ''c:\progra~1\deluge2\pythonw.exe' 'c:\program files\deluge\deluge.exe' ': the system cannot find the file specified. Maybe I should get rid of the usage of Deluge2 in all the build environment and always call it deluge? It does work if I create a Deluge2 symlink pointin...

Re: [Unofficial] Deluge 2.0.x installer
MSVC v142 binary format, I read it here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/porting/binary-compat-2015-2017?view=vs-2019 How to configure boost for it: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/56298381/build-boost-1-70-0-to-ms-v-studio-2019-c they say 14.2 Seems like the boost b2 build system can take ...

Re: [Unofficial] Deluge 2.0.x installer
Thanks for the details MHerz! Patch -N is necessary, since remember I no longer delete the boost folders just link one or the other to C:\boost :) It would be great if you could restore the lt-1.2.3 build .cmd since for example I do not know what is the latest boost version it can use. :? MSVC binar...

Re: [Unofficial] Deluge 2.0.x installer
Hi Folks, a bit of an update on me getting acclimatized: I am standing on shoulders of giants: more specifically cannot thank MHerz enough who has filled the first 50 pages of this story and conquered so many pitfalls, build problems, necessary patching that it is hard to imagine. :o I am running in...

Re: [Unofficial] Deluge 2.0.x installer [Unmaintained/unsupported]
Hi, I think I will use a different file sharing instead of my work account, then once I have that in place you can probably change the link in the first post and indicate the new versions are no longer provided by you I will remove the two copies and the js, thanks. Do some more cleanup and the re-p...

Installers
Both successfully built, please give them a try if you are brave enough. :) I have tried the 2.0.4.dev38 version with libtorrent 1.2.6 and Awadita-dark in thin client mode and deluged-daemon on anothe box, works for me. :) https://multipasol-my.sharepoint.com/:f:/p/sasi_peter/ElknY2uRVbZEicjFMun_qNw...
