Re: 1.1.0 RC2 cannot find daemon on LAN
I found my answer (sort of) here: http://dev.deluge-torrent.org/wiki/ThinClient It says that your username:password need to be entered into ~/.config/deluge/auth. For some reason I had "localclient:8ef8da6c9c96f81a663f4906e93541049a62c653" already in that file, not by me. I changed it to s...

1.1.0 RC2 cannot find daemon on LAN
I run deluged on a headless server and usually connect via web or Gtk. I just upgraded from 1.0.7 to 1.1.0 RC2 and for some reason the gtk client won't connect to the daemon on the LAN. I had it previously set up to connect automatically, but the server doesn't show up in the connections manager. I ...

Request: proxy support
I'm using 1.0.7 and I don't see any proxy support. If I'm not mistaken, an older version of deluge allowed me to connect to trackers and/or peers through a proxy. As cool as that is, that's not exactly what I'm looking for. I like the functionality of the web ui, but I like the gtk ui better. I use ...

port preferences ignored on upgrade until daemon restarted
I just upgraded from 1.0.6 to 1.0.7 and after restarting deluged (1.0.7) my active port has changed to something random, even though my preferences still show the correct port. After restarting deluged (1.0.7) a second it's listening on the correct port. I'm pretty sure I've seen the same thing happ...

1.0.7 won't install on ubuntu
It appears that 1.0.7 has a problem installing on both hardy and intrepid, amd64 (the following is quoted from 2 machines, intrepid and hardy, respectively): $ sudo dpkg -i Desktop/deluge-torrent_1.0.7-1_amd64.intrepid.deb [sudo] password for david: dpkg-deb: file `Desktop/deluge-torrent_1.0.7-1_amd...

Server: Ubuntu 8.04 amd64 deluged 1.0.6r Client: Ubuntu (deluge 1.0.6r) and Windows (web ui) Not sure if this is the same issue, but until we find out otherwise, I'll post here. Sometimes I have individual torrents that stop downloading. Other torrents continue to download fine. Global bandwidth is ...

I tried from a different client machine and was able to add torrents. Go figure.

add torrent fails silently
Was using deluged 1.0.0 with web ui. Just upgraded to 1.0.3 and issue persists. Ubuntu 8.04 x86_64. Click "Add Torrent" Select torrent file from home directory on client machine Click submit UI goes back to index page but newly added torrent is not listed. Previously-added torrents are run...
