Re: auth password in plain text!

Not currently. However, your auth file should only be readable by you, so it's not a huge security risk. Yes, it's a security risk: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Password#Form_of_stored_passwords , http://www.readwriteweb.com/archives/rockyou_hacker_30_of_sites_store_plain_text_passwords.php , http:...

Is deluge development stopped?

I say this because the 1.3.0 version in Download is a release-client version, and it was released almost a month ago!!
By other side, I have added several bugs in last weeks but no one has says anything. :?

auth password in plain text!

Hi,
In wiki it explains the way of save passwords: http://dev.deluge-torrent.org/wiki/User ... entication
But in that example the password is saved in plain text, very insecure!! :?
Is there a way to save this password encrypted?

libtorrent 0.15 is too buggy!!

This and this are the confirmation that libtorrent 0.15 is too buggy. I think that I'll return to libtorrent 0.14.
These errors are too serious to ignore them, even if the libtorrent's developer does.

It's a great notice.

Re: Version mismatch in PPA web and PPA repository.

The PPA build farms have a queue system so it is bound to happen that some items will be out of step. The PPA site actually tells you the wait time plus you should wait for "Successfully built" on all items before installing. This is not a valid excuse. I added the deluge PPA repository t...

Re: Version mismatch in PPA web and PPA repository.

Cas wrote:thats because the PPA release is not actually built yet, be patient.
I am patient, but they shouldn't update the libtorrent version but not the deluge version because that it causes error like I say in previous post.
