Ext4 - File pre-allocation?

Does Deluge use file pre-allocation when using full allocation on ext4 file system? Does Deluge Windows version use pre-allocation because NTFS supports it too?

- Thanks

Solved: Deluge 1.1.7 Classic Mode - Left running?

I did notice that I couldn't start deluge. But when I checked processes I found out that deluge is already running as well is deluged daemon. I killed those processes. Now when I start deluge and close it (in classic mode) using window close box. It closes, but it seems only to close the UI. Deluge ...

Re: ntfs3g high cpu usage with deluge

It would be nice if you could pause all torrents. And check if that 4 gb barrier is causing some problems. Try downloading anything less that 4 gb and then file over 4 gb and check if that's the thing causing problems. Problem might also be ntfs3g related because people aren't suffering from that pr...

Re: Deluge 1.1.3 - Where is it? For Ubuntu.

Ouch! No more packages! Is that why I can't view any of the sections, besides comunity? I guess Ubuntu packages will be availavble on getdeb.net shortly, but since they only support Intrepid, lots of users not willing to build are going to be out of luck. I'm not going to build it... But then I jus...

Re: Ubuntu, Firefox, Deluge, File associations (.torrent)

Have you tried changing the settings in Firefox? Edit\Preferences\Applications\Bit Torrent seed file there you can set up the application you want Firefox to use. Right now I'd guess it says "Always Ask" (default) Thanks! Great hint, I found what I were looking for. But still there are so...

Ubuntu, Firefox, Deluge, File associations (.torrent)

Hi, I have strange problem. For some reason I can open .torrent files which are referred directly from tracker without any problems. But when I open torrent files which are attachments to trackers message board then I'll get message that Helper Application is missing, even if action says Deluge Bitt...

Re: Torrent Creator in 1.1.0 - bugs and improvements

Nice list. I had only one wish for torrent creator.

* Allow using larger 4MB pieces!

P.S. I really wonder why people are adding so many trackers to some torrents. Are trackers really that unreliable?

Deluge 1.1.0 Creating torrents with 4MB peaces?

Bump! After torrent creator moved from old 0.5.X to 1.1.X series, we lost all larger piece sizes than 512. Why is that. I were hopping to get even larger piece sizes. I tried to search for answer. But it seems that New deluge uses different torrent creator than older ones. So to the point. I'm unabl...
