Thin Client on 2.x

Hello,

Has anyone tried to set up 2.x as a thin client / headless daemon?

If so, what should one look out for, compared with the guide for 1.x at https://dev.deluge-torrent.org/wiki/Use ... ThinClient

Thank you.

Re: Deluge 2.0 Beta 1

Hello, I'm a fairly novice Ubuntu user, it would be great if there were a step by step guide to upgrade the server from 1.3 to 2.0, as to keep the previous configurations for http://dev.deluge-torrent.org/wiki/UserGuide/Service/systemd and http://dev.deluge-torrent.org/wiki/UserGuide/ThinClient inta...

Re: Deluge 2.0 Beta 1

Looking forward to this one. However, I'm running Thinclient on desktop and daemon on a file server in my home network, so I'm a bit... skiddish for inpplace upgrade.

Is the windows thin client compatible with 1.3 daemon?

Thanks for the hard work!

Re: Deluge 1.3.12 + libtorrent 1.1.0 not observing speed limits

After downgrading to libtorrent 1.0.9 the problem went away.

Re: [BUG] ordinal not in range(128)

Looks like it was related to a torrent file having strange characters in one of the folders i've set deluge to monitor via plugins.

It was trying to add the torrent and spat out this error every 5 seconds.

[BUG] ordinal not in range(128)

Hello, I've recently noticed the log gets filled with a lot of entries identical to the one below, which spawn at 5s intervals. Any thoughts on this? core:242 Unable to auto add torrent due to improper filename encoding: 'ascii' codec can't decode byte 0xe3 in position 21: ordinal not in range(128)

Re: Downgrade to repository libtorrent (ubuntu 14.04LTS)

Anyone here?

An alternative would be to instruct the daemon to somehow use the older libraries if those are still available.
