0.5.8.9 - full allocation does not work
I've checked a directory of multifile torrent which has been downloading for several minutes and noticed that not all of selected files were present and those present had wrong sizes, as I watched, files grew and new files appeared. I've got allocation mode set to full and clearly it is ignored. linux

Re: upload rate sags when download rate is high
Nope. I've transferred the settings from rtorrent running on NSLU2/unslung (!) and it had no problems whatsoever with the same network gear.

Re: upload rate sags when download rate is high
I was able to raise upload speed by drastically reducing number of concurrent connections to about 48-64. Optimal zone is fairly narrow, a bit more and I start to run into the same problem again, a bit less and both upload and download rates start to drop. I don't understand why that helped though, ...

minor percentage issue
Single-file torrent, download percentage on the 'files' tab should be the same as the percentage of the whole torrent in the torrent list, but in reality it is always slightly behind. If I am to believe the 'details' tab the correct figure is in the master torrent list. http://bestpics.ru/full/snaps...

Re: upload rate sags when download rate is high
loki, in my second message you can see that increasing download speed also increases upload speed, so you cannot be right. It is more likely that due to some design shortcoming 'service' packets utilize the same bandwidth and subject to the same limitations as 'data' packets so restricting upload ba...

Re: upload rate sags when download rate is high
Even more interesting: at around 4pm I've removed download bandwidth limitation in deluge and that had considerably improved upload rate, although not up to the possible maximum.
And sorry, quite forgot in my first post: 0.5.8.9, linux 64-bit.

Re: Deluge Just BANNED on HDBits
Cmon, the problem isn't that bad, it has to do with about 5-10% max on the actual download, and it doesn't affect all users/systems AFAIK. It's not that tragic, but maybe enough for trigger-happy tracker admins to ban the client. 5-10%? Ahem. I've also noticed the unexpectedly high ratios in UI, no...

upload rate sags when download rate is high
I've noticed several times that when I start downloading several torrents and max out available bandwidth upload rate drops considerably. Check the chart - it was all fine when it was leeching 4-5 slow torrents during the night but when I've added several high-bandwidth torrents in the morning, uplo...

cannot move a second torrent to the same directory
Suppose I want to move a seeded torrent to another directory: rightclick on a torrent name, 'move torrent', select a new directory, clik ok - and torrent is moved, all is fine. Now I want to move a second seeded torrent to the same directory - rightclick, move torrent, now I don't have to select a d...

crash recovery may be improved
part 1: rant, but may be useful to some deluge users 0.5.8.8 crashed overnight and continued crashing when restarted. I checked web site, found that 0.5.8.9 is out (and yes - crashes when adding new torrents - I had a couple of those...), installed it - nothing's changed, still crashes. Ok, FAQ says...
