Re: running deluge causes a major internet slowdown
I did so now I only have Peer Exchange enabled but there doesn't seem to be any difference... should I just keep the total number of connections limited to 50 or so? According to some guides I found out there, I should be okay using 120-150 connections based on my ISP's speed, no?

Re: ONLY 1.1.4 works
If you start deluge from the shell, are there any descriptive errors? Post the output here. Also, which distro are you running?

torrents get removed from deluge 1.1.8
Basically, when I exit deluge all my torrents (active downloads/seeds) aren't there when I reload it. The files are on the filesystem, but in order to see them, I have to reload the .torrent files and wait for the file check on each one. Any thoughts as to what might be causing this?

running deluge causes a major internet slowdown
I have 1.1.8 up and running on GNU Linux x64 (tested and confirmed under Ubuntu 9.04 and Debian 5.0) and have noticed that when I'm using the connection settings recommended in the FAQ , webpages take 30+ sec to load. If I exit deluge totally, browsing the web is very fast. I tested by net connectio...

Re: problem running deluge 1.1.3
...looks like I spoke too soon. I can get into the Deluge GUI just fine, but my config doesn't seem to gave saved. All my options get reset when I exit the app. If I run it from the shell for debugging purposes, I get: $ $ deluge [ERROR ] 16:37:49 config:284 Error backing up old config.. [ERROR ] 16...

errors compiling v0.5.9.4
I successfully compiled v1.1.4 on my arch box and am now interested in v0.5.9.4 to see the differences. Anyway, I removed 1.1.4 and attempted to compile 0.5.9.4 but it ended in errors. I am using the PKGBUILD for this version I found from http://download.deluge-torrent.org/arch/0.5.9.4/ In short, he...

problem running deluge 1.1.3
I got Deluge 1.1.3 compiled on a distro that's based on Arch Linux. I compiled it from the PKGBUILD in the official Arch Repo without errors and it installed also without errors. I can't get it to load though. $ deluge Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/bin/deluge", line 8, in <...
