Hi,
The initial setup sets the permission to deluge:deluge so I guess you haven't properly setup the permissions on the deluge's profile and torrents location.

Re: Stuck at checking
Hi,
You you sure the Deluge user has full access to the storage ? You can enable deluge debug log (check the wiki for how to) to have maybe a better root cause.

Re: [Ubuntu] Help needed with auto start and connect at server reboot
Hi sformisano,
Under Ubuntu you can start Deluge as an app. Minimized it will run for the time it's running. To start the dameon Deluged & Deluge-web (server and web interface) you need to setup the services as described http://dev.deluge-torrent.org/wiki/User ... ce/systemd

Re: Deluge Fast After Restart, then Slows
;) There are some guide lines but mostly it depends of the resources you have. For example having 3000 possible connections kills my ISP modem and the speed slowly decrease with packet drop. It depends of the tracker too: on a public tracker lot of people limit the upload speed so a higher connectio...

Re: Deluge Fast After Restart, then Slows
Hi ss4johnny, My first idea is network isue, why so much connections ? (3000)? Reduce this number to let's say 300 for moment an tell us the behavior. Another part should be the disk IO, with Win 10 you can check the Resources monitor under disk tab. The value to check is under Storage>disk queue le...

Re: How to configure Deluge to only torrent when connected to a VPN?
There are some topics about namespace, creating a virtual interface bind to Deluge. Such way avoid any failback to the real IP out of VPN and remove the iptable change, I never tested them so far. https://schnouki.net/posts/2014/12/12/openvpn-for-a-single-application-on-linux/ https://gist.github.co...

Re: Mishap in install... Effects??!
You can always delete the user and the home directory and make it again (userdel command) but if all works I do not see the necessity.
If you proceed do not forget to backup the /var/lib/deluge/.config/deluge folder fist (settings, loaded torrents, etc).

Re: Stange upload behaviour
Hi,
Does the graph represents both UP/DL ? I see 2 curves and I guess you're very lucky if the UP speed is >6MiB/s .
Can you please try to limit the DL speed to for example 2 MB/s on a 24h period to see the difference?

Re: Determining file format within a torrent without full download
Hi bgoodr, To the best of my knowledge at least it cannot:Deluge handles the torrents part but cannot tell anything about the content itself. My recent Sony TV has good media capabilities but failed on some files on the subtitles/non-default language...Not really an issue, I faced such problem years...
