Thanks Cas. There's a guide online on how to compile 1.3.11 on Raspberry Pi, so I'll give that a go.
Thanks again for the advice, and Deluge in general.
Kind regards,
Discy

Raspbian WebUI Scheduler
Hi all, I've checked everywhere I can and I think the Scheduler should work with the WebUI - correct? I've installed 1.3.3 on my Raspbian Raspberry Pi 2 and while I can access the Daemon correctly via the WebUI, I tick 'Scheduler' under the Plugins section and, er, nothing happens. I've tried reboot...

Re: Daemon keeps crashing
I think I have a similar problem. I'm running daemon 1.3.6 and it'll run happily for an indeterminate period of time, then disconnect. I can use the webui connection manager to restart the daemon and reconnect to it from the webui, but then the same problem will occur again, after another period of ...

Re: Why won't Deluge delete containing folders?
Hi all, Just wondering how easy/difficult it would be to have a 'Dirty Folders' plug-in for Deluge that essentially looks for hidden files like these and removes them before doing the 'Delete all data' command? Something similar has been implemented on Transm*****n but, well, the rest of that set-up...

Re: Why won't Deluge delete containing folders?
Hi Cas, It'd be great in future if Deluge could have an option to delete even hidden .DS_Store and ._AppleDouble files from Linux filesystems. I've spent the past week or ten days experimenting with this and it's definitely the problem - because if I run Deluge or uTorrent on a Mac server using HFS+...

Re: Why won't Deluge delete containing folders?
Hi Cas, I think I may have finally cracked it! Here goes... First, I realised that Mountain Lion doesn't stop creating .ds_store files if you use the widely circulated Terminal command. That basically stopped working with Lion, allegedly. Instead I found an app called Asepsis which stores the files ...

Re: Why won't Deluge delete containing folders?
I need to double-check, Cas; I'm running Mountain Lion and apparently the widely circulated Terminal command to stop .ds_store creation on network shares doesn't work beyond 10.7. I've found an app that claims to do it for the latest OS, though, so I'll try it again tonight. It could be that even af...

Re: Why won't Deluge delete containing folders?
Gutted - just tried this now, Cas, and it makes precisely no difference. Basically if I'm not logged into the AFP share, it looks like Deluge will delete everything. The moment I log into the AFP share and have even the parent Downloads folder open in my Apple laptop's Finder, it leaves the empty di...

Re: Why won't Deluge delete containing folders?
I notice other developers - uTorrent in particular - have turned down this request. But then, uTorrent is barely being touched on Linux these days anyway (which is one of the reasons I came here!). Perhaps, if it does turn out that this is the problem, a brief description in the FAQ or something to ...

Re: Why won't Deluge delete containing folders?
Bit more Googling this morning - although not being able to try out the theory is driving me nuts! I can find similar problems involving .ds_store files with utorrent and transmission - https://trac.transmissionbt.com/ticket/3732 I think the way round it is to stop the Mac and PC from leaving the fi...
