It seems that local peer discovery (LPD) is disabled when the torrent's private flag is set to true. It would be nice if this could be overridden in the options.

Ended up just manually downloading and installing the Ubuntu Maverick packages as the previous poster suggested. Works fine.

Will the PPA archive be updated now that 1.3 is stable? Thanks.
