Re: Deluge.app build using GTK-OSX **Test Release Available*
Wow, carbncl. You're doing a great job. Your .app is a lot of what everyone has been waiting for. I think it's safe to say that Deluge is now not only multi-platform, but easily accessible by everyone on all the platforms. I personally have a working Deluge MacPorts build and I will start the daemon...

Re: [HOWTO] Install Deluge 1.3.3 with Macports
Hey again carbncl, It seems as if to discount all the hard time we've spent researching the broken libnotify dependency and your subsequent removal of libnotify from the Deluge port, it appears the MacPorts team has just resolved the dependency issue but only on OS X 10.7.2+. Just thought I'd let yo...

Re: [HOWTO] Install Deluge 1.3.3 with Macports
I was also digging around a bit more about the libnotify dependency. After looking at the Deluge portfile I found that Deluge does not require libnotify per se, but rather it is Deluge's requirement of py26-notify-python which requires libnotify. Do we really need this? Something for the portfile pe...

Re: [HOWTO] Install Deluge 1.3.3 with Macports
The best solution I guess would be to remove libnotify since I doubt it will ever work on OSX (via growl maybe), but I have no idea if deluge can be built without. Someone (me? :)) should try and propose a macports package fix (with maybe a libnotify variant) Yes, I too believe the best option is t...

Re: [HOWTO] Install Deluge 1.3.3 with Macports
Actually to be clear it is NOT working on Lion unless you perform a dangerous (I don't exactly know why, but the MacPorts developers do) workaround to get libnotify working. The workaround is located here: https://trac.macports.org/browser/trunk/dports/devel/libnotify/Portfile . If you look in the c...

Re: Using WineBottler to Run Deluge Win32 Executable
Yeah, I attempted with that guide like two times, and they have both failed for me on Snow Leopard. There was a new Xcode package released so that may have fixed things, but all attempts were unsuccessful. Anyway, this method works surprisingly well, and like I said all I need is a gtk-console so I ...

Using WineBottler to Run Deluge Win32 Executable
I have successfully been running Deluge for a while now by using WineBottler with the py26 WineTrick. All that needs to be done is to load the setup file and make sure you choose the Python 2.6 WineTrick and then accept all the default settings for the install dialogs. Then when it asks you which bi...

Re: Tutorial: Deluge 1.2.0 and flexget up and running in 30mins
Hi, I followed most of the instructions and got to compiling deluge. The daemon (deluged) seems to run pretty fine with the WebUI but after I tried to run deluge, I received this error: (deluge):~ <user>$ deluge [ERROR ] 13:03:56 ui:146 No module named gobject Traceback (most recent call last): File...
