Re: How to increase speed in Deluge?
1. yes 2. it will use a port within range unless it is currently in use, also... as the picture you posted when you select random the range becomes grayed out, meaning no longer used 3. i cannot answer that if you use random because it'll change every time, therefore you'd have to change the value i...

Re: OS X taskbar not working (1.3.1 on 10.5.8)
(bear in mind I don't have access to OS X or other Mac OS but these universal problem solving tips may help regardless) Maybe the daemon is still running but the UI is not? Hence the not being able to open the window but still showing upload/download speed. Could you try to access it by webUI if you...

Re: Linux: Still transferring data after shutdown deluge
I imagine those are either requests to your machine for a piece of the torrent you were sharing or the very last updates or requests for updates from the tracker. Either of which do stop after very short time (it looks like) and use barely any bandwidth.

Re: UDP traffic when idle
Are you sure that the port in question isn't being used by anything else. This is the main reason why it is usually suggested to pick a port above the 6881 range, hopefully well above ones that are specified for a specific service. Another thought would be it isn't doing any transferring per-se but ...

Re: Use 1Gbps speed.
Most likely you can set everything unlimited or -1. The limiting factor is likely going to be everyone else connection or upload amount cap if that applies to your Gbps.

Re: Deluge having a hard time uploading stuff
Could depend on a number of different things, or any combination of the following... the number of maximum connections, the router maximum connection limit, the number of fast seeders in the swarm, and most likely... the fact that not everyone may want the entire torrent whatever it may be.
