What are you suggesting? 1.0.5 still lags a bit for my pc. How to I solve it? Download Phyton or GTK+?

Those 2 versions are giving me slow response. I mean, it lags for a while over here and there.

0.5 version doesn't lag a bit at all. Do I need any extra installation? Like java or whatsoever?
