This bug is still there and is the cause that many people don't use Deluge in trackers that have amount of torrents in download state http://dev.deluge-torrent.org/ticket/1601 I haven't replied there because trac warns about "Warning: <acct_mgr.web_ui.MessageWrapper object at 0xb90c532c>" ...

Thanks for the response, Deluge is one of the clients allowed in our tracker and knowing this is useful for our configurations recommendations of the clients. We will ask the users to enable or disable peer discoverable technologies in Deluge as they want.

Hi, I wish to know if Deluge use peer discover methods other than tracker for private torrents when PEX, LSD, DHT or even a plugin to discover peers is enabled, or if it respects the private flag and don't use them at all.
