Re: 1.3.0 PPAs for Ubuntu
Found someone's un-official PPAs for 1.3.0_RC2: https://launchpad.net/~ferramroberto/+archive/lucidtest?field.series_filter=lucid ... There is another PPA maintained by the same developer (Roberto Ferramosca) and which is for stable releases (unlike the above repository which is for testing release...

Re: PPA update
.. Especially if you have many ppa's in source list and often don't want to upgrade particular apps from particular repos but you still keep them enabled for some other apps .. hmm.. I'm wondering now: is there any way to 'bind' particular application to particular repo to prevent upgrades from any...

Re: PPA update
Got it now. Thanks Cadriel. BTW if upgrading via console I prefer to use 'apt-get update && update-manager-text ' than '.. && apt-get upgrade . The first one lets you select packages you want to update. I'd recommend it to everyone. Especially if you have many ppa's in source list an...

Re: deluge 1.2.0_rc4/rc5: Test Active Port doesn't work
I can't upload my log. It says ' The extension ... is not allowed '. It didn't accept deluge.log, deluge.txt, either deluge without extension. Is there any file name length limit?. But deluge is only 6 characters so it should be short enough? Anyway I'm not sure if the log will be useful as deluged ...

Re: deluge 1.2.0_rc4/rc5: Test Active Port doesn't work
Just in case there may be something to do with the gtk2 and icon themes I use on my GNOME I've tried different sets of themes (Dust, New Wave, devArt, Silent Night II) and icons (Humanity - default on Ubuntu, Meliae White/Dark, Magog White, Simplygrey). Again - no difference. I don't think it's rele...

Re: deluge 1.2.0_rc4/rc5: Test Active Port doesn't work
@johnnyg I usually waited a bit as I'm aware it may take a (little) while. I've just tried again three times and each time gave it about 30 seconds. The same result: no information. When I check on the above URL I usually get response right away but if there's any delay it's like maximum 3 or 4 sec....

Re: deluge 1.2.0_rc4: Test Active Port seems to not work
When you click on "test active port", you should see one of two icons appear next to it: A green tick An exclamation in an orange triangle so to confirm, you're not seeing any of those? I confirm that I don't see any of the above or any other kind of notification when clicking on the 'tes...

Re: deluge 1.2.0_rc4: Test Active Port seems to not work
@dack I'm using the same release (Ubuntu 9.10 x86, deluge 1.2.0_rc4 from deluge-team PPA) and it works fine for me. My port is configured as random (using uPNP). 1) There is one difference between our Ubuntu versions: I'm working on 64 bits. Don't know whether or not that's relevant regarding this i...
