Any comments on how to get that working?
I've got deluge installed and whatnot with Wine, and the python winetricks, but I can't seem to get it to actually run....

Re: Auto-start Daemon without scripting?
Not sure if you got anything working, but here is the script I use to start deluged on boot. Put it in ' /etc/init.d/ .' I called mine ' deluge-daemon .' You have to make it executable, and then add it to the boot list. The instructions at https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UbuntuBootupHowto can prob...

Re: SSL in WebUI not working
Nevermind. Apparently, when I turned on SSL in the WebUI, it didn't change the actual config file properly. Manually set SSL to true, and we are operational.

SSL in WebUI not working
My Deluge setup is totally operational. Everything works except SSL on the WebUI. I've followed the instructions in the FAQ, as well as using certs I've generated for other purposes. It just hangs. HTTP access still works, but HTTPS just hangs. I'm running Ubuntu 10.04 64-bit with Deluge 1.2.3 from ...

The CLI is, as you stated in the title of your post is 'deluge-console' To change settings as you did pre-1.2 with deluge -u console -a "config --set ......", you should use: deluge-console "config -s <setting_name> <new_value>" I use it for cycling autoadding all the time. Good...

Deluged crashes randomly
First, Recently, deluged has started crashing randomly, but only when a torrent is running. If there aren't any torrents, the server runs fine, but that's pretty pointless. Also, I am wondering why, regardless of updates, I am still running 1.2.0-rc1-dev. I run Ubuntu 9.04 and I do get my updates fr...

Re: features/requests
Unrelated to OP other than that this is another feature request: Could the CLI support the adding of magnet links? Yea the GTKUI will create them for you, but many sites provide already constructed links. I really hate having to fire up my remote frontend on my Windows box when I've got a console op...

Re: Ubuntu PPA Package Failure
Aha. Thanks, I'm installing that now. I'm sure it'll work fine afterwords.
