Seems to work fine here with transdroid and deluge 1.3.1. I stopped the daemon and killed the web ui manually since the init script doesn't. Then restarted the init script and all was ok!
Thx!

Re: Win 1.3.1 can't shutdown linux daemon 1.3.0
Just now even my Linux 1.3.1 client couldn't shutdown the linux daemon. I'm using the menu "Quit & Shutdown daemon", both in the linux and Win 7 client (1.3.1 both). As for linux I don't have any Tray Icon, althuogh it is activated in options. I'm sure it depends on my Lxpanel config. ...

Win 1.3.1 can't shutdown linux daemon 1.3.0
Seems that my windows 7 Deluge 1.3.1 can't shutdown my linux daemon 1.3.0, Linux 1.3.0 client on other box works ok. The win version seems ok otherwise.
EDIT: Linux client 1.3.1 does shutdown 1.3.0 daemon.

Rev 2582 dfeault speed? minor issue
Revision 2582 seems to have a minor issue with default speed - it's set to low. Earlier revisions had it set to unlimited per default.
Since it's easily set manually it's no big deal.
Thx,
keep up the very good work!

Rev. 2556 /2555 always rechecks ?? Fixed in 2582
I'm running latest rev. 2556 on xubuntu 7.04 and it always rechecks every torrent when starting, completed and not completed. I've made clean before building and installing and I've deleted the file persistent.state. (Same with rev. 2555)
Would it help to delete all contents of .config/deluge ?

Re: Deluge 0.5.6 "freezing"
0.5.6.25 (r2111 from SVN) freezes for me too, but mostly when I'm trying to quit from menu. I upgraded from r2096(?) because it froze when unattendend.
I'm on Ubuntu/gnome and have maybe 2-3 torrents total.
Edit: r2112 !

Re: Deluge doesn't want to start
I just ran into this too with latest SVN 1762. Erased all in .config/deluge but no luck. Had to go back to revision 1695 wich works well.
It takes forever to compile on my 400Mhz so I can't try all revisions, unfortunately.

Deluge revision 460 quits when download finished
Seems that SVN 460 quits unexpectedly just when a torrent is completely downloaded and what was downloaded since the last start of Deluge is forgotten. So, it might be that is never can finish anything since it crashes at the very last step. I'm gonna try removing all in :/config/deluge and then jus...
