Re: Ext4 - File pre-allocation?

Currently, Deluge only uses sparse-files for it's "full" allocation. Hmm, I don't have a clue how ext4 works with sparce pre-allocated files. Does it pack data in compact set, causing fragmentation. Or does it spread out data as it should(?) to prevent frangmentation. Of course it's quite...

Deluge 1.2.0 RC5 - Won't start

[INFO ] 18:15:48 ipcinterface:127 Deluge is already running! Sending arguments to running instance.. Seems to get stuck at this point. After reboot it might start, then it's a goner again and won't start anymore. I think there is something broken with RC5 because I haven't had this kind of problem w...

Re: Idea: Deluge with Rapidshare support?

Unfortunately Rapidshare sucks. It's slow, delays, file size limits, etc. There are many other better services, and with those you don't need any manager, because you can download gigabytes of stuff in minutes. Default firefox / ie download feature is more than sufficient. Unfortunately Rapidshare i...

Re: Magnet links support for Deluge.

That has been fixed in RC4. Thanks. Good to know. At least it doesn't seem to be available yet. But no panic. It's just enough that I know it's fixed. It seems that launchpad doesn't have latest (compiled) version out for distribution (Ubuntu Jaunty X64). That's why I didn't get newer version even ...

Re: 1.2rc3 issues

Creating a torrent still causes deluge to freeze up at near or above 100% of the creation process and therefore causes deluge to crash. (same) On Ubuntu I got that creating torrent label on screen and deluge is stuck. But after restarting process, everything is fine. New torrent is there and it's s...

Re: Magnet links support for Deluge.

There is no file list because you do not have the metadata yet, ie, the info from the .torrent file. If you only have the info-hash, like in the case of a magnet uri, then you must wait until you retrieve the metadata from another peer before you can view the list of files. I really have to say tha...

Re: Magnet links support for Deluge.

If I download using infohash or magnet link, it seems that I can't select files which I would like to download in torrent. Is that deluges "fault" or some generic con with hash based downloads? I think when it gets torrent size and other info at that point it also should allocate torrent a...

Re: Magnet links support for Deluge.

This question is again on the wall. I found out that I can add torrents with info-hash, but I still weren't able to add using magnet url. I tried using url option with magnet link, copy pasted from Firefox to Deluge. And why I ask for this... http://thepiratebay.org/blog/175 You might also have noti...

Automatic upload bandwidth management plugin? No lag!

Hi! I have started to miss this feature from good old eDonkey. Because now I'm having more users on my home network than just me. It would be so great if Deluge could automaticly manage bandwidth, so it wouldn't cause problems and total lag for other users. I know that of course I could set paramete...
