Re: Deluge 1.1.x UI (a little bit of "wtf" rant)

*snipped cuz it's too fucking long* A few things: 1. The icons are on the tabs on the bottom to make it more user friendly for noobs. I have favicons on my firefox tabs and that doesn't bother me, same sort of thing. 2. I think the "Add Torrent" dialog in 1.1 is MUCH better than 0.5 (and ...

ArchLinux Deluge repo

Hey all...I noticed that there are a bunch of ArchLinux users on these forums so i decided to make a i686 and x86_64 (aka amd64) Deluge repo so that you don't have to deal with a long-ass compile everytime a new version comes out. I'm only going to be updating this for new versions and RC's and the ...

Re: Deluge RC* and irssi issues

Hello, I'm experimenting some strange issues with Deluge since the first RC release. I'm using an ubuntu with a 2.6.24-19 kernel. Each 8minutes, irssi log out (irssi is an IRC client) when a Deluge RC release is running. I checked ports mapping, but it doesn't seems to be a ports issues. I don't kn...

Re: 1.0.0_RC4 (0.9.04) Released

This is possibly the wrong thread for this...but...All our bitching finally paid off:

Peers Progress was just implemented in trunk and should be in Deluge 1.1.0 YAY!!!

Re: how to uninstall from svn

johnnyg wrote:I would think you would do a

Code: Select all

sudo make uninstall
you would if Deluge used Autotools (./configure, make, make install), but it doesn't. This being said, i don't exactly know how.

Re: 1.0.0_RC3 (0.9.03) Released

EDIT2 : Feature request : - to be able to see how much each peer has completed the torrent download. It was avail. in 0.5.x :) As i have mentioned, this was requested by myself and another user...The devs said they're not going to implement it and if you want it, to make a plugin yourself. I would'...

Re: Deluge 1.0.0_RC2 (0.9.02)

Hello, I cannot compile it. Ps: openSuSE 10.2 It gives out the following error: building 'libtorrent' extension gcc -fno-strict-aliasing -DNDEBUG -O2 -march=i586 -mtune=i686 -fmessage-length=0 -Wall -D_FORTIFY_SOURCE=2 -g -fPIC -I./libtorrent -I./libtorrent/include -I./libtorrent/include/libtorrent...

Re: 1.0.0_RC2 (0.9.02) Released

I've gone back to the last stable release of the client, at least for the time being as I could not handle the inherent performance lag with the release candidates and the lack of a working blocklist importer, although I hope these issues will be rectified in subsquent releases as I love this clien...

Re: 1.0.0_RC2 (0.9.02) Released

6. This was removed. Again, according to the devs, it's not worth the overhead so it was removed. I personally think it should be added back, but they said "Never", so meh...I'll stop bitching. No!!!! Why was it removed? It was a great feature! Now how am I supposed to see how much time l...

Re: 1.0.0_RC2 (0.9.02) Released

this update is looking good. i was messing around with the configurations, and noticed that the "max new connections per second" and "max half connections" were missing. This feature was useful since i also use emule and have to divide my half connections and new connections bet...
