Re: high cpu usage...
I've noticed this too. deluge 1.3.6 on windows 8. i5-2500 processor. just idle seeding torrents deluge constantly using lots of cpu, 6-18%. in comparison qbittorrent or utorrent with the same torrents using 0-1%. Seems to be related to the gtk ui and/or classic mode. The GTK ui also seems to have a ...

Re: Running Deluge as a service
In case anyone comes across this thread via google as I did, a method that should work better for new versions of windows (server 2k8, windows 7/8) is to use nssm instead of srvany, this works great for me in windows 8 so far: dowload http://nssm.cc/usage create the deluge service with nssm install ...

Re: Running the daemon in background
In case anyone is still wondering, this method works for me to start the daemon on boot and make it so it doesn't leave the cmd window open: download http://www.naughter.com/startx.html, place the StartX.exe in your deluge install dir Now in your windows startup folder create a text file called delu...

Deluge's webui is much nicer but I still had some problems with it (filters don't seem to work at all). But I've discovered deluge's awesome daemon/thinclient...

Re: WebUI filter state no items
same problem here with firefox 18 and chrome 24, deluge 1.3.5
edit: i've recently discovered deluge's wonderful thinclient capabilities though and use that instead . I still have webui enabled for transdroid on my nexus, and transdroid seems to have no such problem at least.

UPNP doesn't work
I have deluge .5.4.1 on ubuntu 7.10 from the repos. I can't get good speeds because the UPNP plugin doesn't seem to work at all. I have it enabled but it says the port is still blocked and my router page doesn't show deluge, but it shows Ktorrent and azureus when they have UPNP enabled. Is there a w...
