excessive amounts of announces
Ive been a long time fan of Deluge ever since it first came out. I've even converted a large number of my friends. However, Im now rethinking this program. There are excessive amounts of announces to the trackers. 7 hours seeding, can not possibly amount to 22+ announces, and now stats do not match ...

Re: Phantom connections
After halting the deluge client (through the CLI with the "halt" command) i still have a fair amount of connections to my torrent port. I checked my computer from the outside (http://www.ping.eu), and the ports i use for torrents are closed. However the connections that seem to be coming ...

Re: No Connection, Port Closed
Loki's answer worked once. Subsequent attempts still gave me the reply that the port was closed. Even disabling Windows Firewall entirely still gave the reply that the port was closed and now Deluge does not start at all. Is this the best you guys can do for a piece of software? That was a horrible...

Re: 1.0.0_RC1 (0.9.01) Released
I noticed this version does not use back the settings from the previous version, and it tried to re-download all the completed files when I try to add in those torrents for seeding, is there any way to import the existing setting and status in this version? This only happened to me upon first insta...

Re: Sandvine has evolved
Here's the thing. If you have Comcast, you can connect to other Comcast users. Anyone else, good luck. Your pieces never reach you, and vice versa, and are just routed back, making seeding nearly impossible. You cant upload. They throttle to no end. You're almost better off going with the dreaded di...

Re: New version removes ubuntu menu entry?
I was able to successfully reinstall 0.5.9.1 by first uninstalling Deluge 0.5.9.2 in Synaptic Package Manager, then installing 0.5.9.1 deb. Im glad you wer able to do that, because when I went back into synaptic, there were no other versions there that I could even force. They vanished. They were t...

Newest Deluge 0.5.9.2 wont auto load files, cant locate ....
Ive had all the Deluges, all the way up thru 0.5.9.1, with not one problem. Today, however, I was informed of the new version, installed as usual thru g-debi, and not only could the files not be auto loaded, but it seems Firefox looked for Deluge, and was unable to locate it. It kept wanting to open...

unpacking .rar files
I recently updated and installed Gutsy tribe 4 32 bit version. The problem is, with Dapper 6.06 the "archive manager", would auto extract all the .rar files, and then they could be played in any player; ie: Totem, VLC, MP. I see no way to do this in Gutsy. Am I missing something? Cant even...
