as a warning, you do realise that by using the RAM/Cache more will mean if your computer gets unexpectedly turned off, you'll lose a significantly more of your downloads. Unless you can set the write & read cache separately... i.e. Set Read Cache High (for seeding) and Write Cache Low (for down...

Reduce Disk I/O, use RAM/Cache
How can I reduce my Disk I/O and use RAM/Cache for seeding and downloading of torrents? I am using Ubuntu 8.10 32bit, I have a RAID 5 array (4x250mb HDs) and I have 4gb of RAM (yes I realize that not all 4 gigs is being utilized because I am using a 32bit ver of Ubuntu, but unfortunately my CPU does...
