Hi, well I was using 0.6 for about 10 minutes and I broke it :P I was using it via the WebUI. I started a torrent, and tried to change the directory that it would be saved to. Note that I didn't seem to be successful in changing the default directory (it kept trying to put things in my home folder)...

Deluge cannot do this at this point in time, but it *should* be possible to write a plugin for this.

Assuming you are downloading to a partition that supports Full Allocation and have it enabled in deluge's preferences, then you can simply "Enable selecting files for torrents before loading"

I don't want to seem rude, but did you really look in the preferences? It's the very first option. And if you want a temporary directory for partial downloads, then in that spot, set the partial download directory and then enable the Move Torrent plugin and set that to be the completed download dire...

I had this problem once. I believe the webui plugin was the culprit, because I noticed that it was still running in my processes. I haven't been able to confirm this though.

This will be possible with the 0.6 branch. With 0.5.x, all of the aspects of the program are dependent upon the gui, so the desktop environment must be up and running for 0.5.x to operate. With the 0.6 branch, the gui just controls a running core process, so the core can run without the desktop envi...

Does it finish successfully with the TorrentNotification plugin disabled, that could help isolate the issue.
