This is sort of a hack, but I've put a ticket on TRAC - which may be moving to github itself soon I believe, to disable password prompting when the address is local subnets. Can there simply not be an option in settings to disable the box based on user preference? There may still be reasons why use...

When webUI has no password set, would it be possible to just skip the dialogue box that asks for a password everytime* I access the webui? It seems like an unnecessary step.
