Thanks, it was confusing as it worked fine on a different torrent.

The main screen displays a small text & icon in the bottom right corner of the screen "port error" Clicking it opens another window that doesn't provide any information as to what the port error is or what to do about it. Now all the while there's an active torrent and download traffic...
