Re: Libtorrent 2.0.8 update.
I just wanted to add to this that I am very happy with Deluge 2.2.0 + libtorrent 1.2.19. Some quirks I experienced, most notably a portion of torrents coming up as paused on restart in 2.1.x seem to be resolved. and console seems to perform better. As for libtorrent 2.0.latest, I sticking with 1.2.1...

Re: [Guide] Installing "GeoIP Database"
I run the Deluge daemon as a service using the NSSM method as documented on this site. I need to figure out timing. I am thinking monthly with Windows Update is sufficient. Doesn't seem to be any real issue with the Ip database being a few weeks old but not more than a month. What is the worst that ...

Re: [Guide] Installing "GeoIP Database"
I just noticed a bad page rule, so I had to make a new URL - FYI. This should work now where before it redirected erroneously. Thanks. It works now. Easy powershell script with Start-BITStransfer or Invoke-Webrequest both work to grab the file and store it locally. The only issue I haven't sorted o...

Re: [Guide] Installing "GeoIP Database"
Thanks! I maintain a up to date (updates every 3 days from maxmind) geoip.dat for Deluge usage located at HTTPs://geo.el0.org if you are interested in getting a more up to date version. Does it work to point deluge directly to HTTPs://geo.el0.org/GeoIP.dat or does the file need to be downloaded and...

Re: Libtorrent 2.0.8 update.
I had experimented w/ various builds of Libtorrent 2.0.x. I think I switched to 1.2.19 around when 2.0.9 was the latest. I found 1.2.19 worked much better than any of the 2.0.x builds I tested. This was with Deluge 2.11 for Windows x64. I see that there are newer builds up to 2.0.11, and now Deluge ...

Re: Test Active Ports
Check windows firewall. from my experience, works best if the inbound rule maps to the executable for deluge or deluged depending on if you are running thing client or standalone. Not the port number.

Re: Libtorrent 2.0.8 update.
Thanks Mhertz! I swapped out and the performance gain on download speeds with 1.2.19 is very noticeable and appreciated.

Re: Libtorrent 2.0.8 update.
Looking at the recommendation to roll back to 1.2.19 libtorrent, I think I am going to try few quick questions is there a link the latest libtorrent pyd file download? also, should I disable, remove, reset or do nothing with the ltconfig and wslimit plugins? I seem to remember ltconfig was to config...

Re: Maximum number of torrents with 2.11/LT 2.08?
Thanks! I currently have the value set to 4000 and have 3120 torrents, and adding to that weekly. No issues.
