Re: GUI Displayed IP Address
So, I’m at my place now and no longer able to open a GTK session or access the web-up while my openvpn is running. Since my server is operating at a different physical location I primarily use deluge-console to interact with it. Just some background before I begin. One thing that I found interesting...

Re: GUI Displayed IP Address
So don’t mind me. Kinda just documenting my findings. So… the reason why I cannot set tun0 via the remote connection is as you said, tun0 doesn’t exist. It exists on my server, but NOT on the client machine I am using to connect to the deluge server. Once I logged in via the web it, I was able to bi...

Re: GUI Displayed IP Address
It’s tun0. I’m using openvpn setup with PIA. Here is the output from an ifconfig: tun0: flags=4305<UP,POINTOPOINT,RUNNING,NOARP,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 inet 10.30.112.xxx netmask 255.255.255.0 destination 10.30.112.xxx unspec 00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00 txqueuelen 500 (UNSPEC) RX pac...

Re: GUI Displayed IP Address
Interesting. When I set tun0 as my incoming/outgoing interface in confit, it doesn’t take? It just resets to blank when I hit apply.
This is also Deluge 2.1.0 for client
2.1.1 for server.
Upgraded the client to match and still nothing.

Re: GUI Displayed IP Address
I’ll definitely start with just binding the interface in preferences to tun0. Didn’t even notice that the first time. Like I said it’s been awhile since I had to set all this up. Thanks again for your help!!

Re: GUI Displayed IP Address
When I have some time later tonight I’ll check out the link to the thread you shared. I’m glad I’m not the only person having a session. I was starting to freak out, but it sounds like maybe I should be freaking out a little bit. So basically I need to set up some IP tables to bind Deluge to my VPN,...

Re: GUI Displayed IP Address
I think I know what you’re asking. If I perform a curl to a website to check my IP/Country code, it’s coming back with the VPN address and CA, which is where I am connecting. I have a cron running ever minute to perform this check and reboot my system in the event that it does not come back with the...

Re: GUI Displayed IP Address
Crap. I just ran out for errends, but I will check when I get back. The fact that your display shows the VPN IP address in mind is not definitely concerns me. Thanks so much for reaching out I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.

GUI Displayed IP Address
Quick question. When I am attached to the GUI or if I launch deluge-console from a terminal in Ubuntu, Deluge will display an IP address at the bottom. This IP address, even when I am connected to my VPN and have verified my VPN IP, remains my real IP address. Where is this GUI displayed IP derived ...

deluge-console Error
After having some issues with my old box, build a new server and starting fresh. Deluged works great from both a remote connection and from the web-ui. Deluge-Console (Which I will rely on due to the VPN) seems to be having some issues tho: deluged 2.0.3 libtorrent: 2.0.5.0 Python: 3.10.4 OS: Linux ...
