Re: How to downgrade Deluge to the last stable version?

Why don't they mark it as such? Let them mark it as 2.1.1 or 2.1.2 so that it is not banned a some sites as unstable version. We don't have control over the repositories that others run, and thus recommend using the official PPA or pypi (pip) to install, or some of the docker containers mentioned h...

Re: Deluge running on Windows cannot see my NAS folders

I have no experience with synology, but they have a pretty big community. I'd imagine you'd just have to share folders on your desktop using windows sharing (which would be called samba or cifs in linux) and then mount it.

Re: Deluge running on Windows cannot see my NAS folders

I have network locations mounted/mapped as a drive and I can see them fine, what is it you are doing (where are you looking for them?) I see my network mounted drives in the 'Move Download Folder' menu, as well as the add torrent file menus...are you just expecting to see them listed in some sort of...

Re: How to downgrade Deluge to the last stable version?

Uninstall, and then you can install using pip, which is what I recommend to most people. If you do not have python installed, it's very easy to install (3.10 should be available) - barring that you can install from the PPA or google for ways to install. 2.1.1 is the latest stable release and availab...

Well, you're missing libtorrent. You need to install libtorrent, if brew has that module, install it.

Re: Deluge not starting after update

it appears you are missing a module, which would lead me to believe that the installation is broken somehow. You should try uninstalling and reinstalling via pip, perhaps using the [all] pip install deluge[all] However I'm not sure what method you used to install, but I always recommend using pip to...

Re: Docker image not working properly

Using host networking basically removes the docker internal network entirely, giving your container direct access to the network rather than a internal docker network with 172 IPs, this leads me to believe that you have something else misconfigured or set to cause problems with docker. Do you have o...

Re: how to fix "port issue"

The only thign I can think of is that It might be using UPnP is enabled on your router and that is taking care of the forwarding automatically when the port is requested.

Under Network I preferences is UPnP checked at the bottom?

Re: how to fix "port issue"

So first of all, you should choose a port other than the default torrent port of 6881 - like I said above 10000 - any port that's not used. Secondly, if you can't forward your port in your router, there's not really anything you can do other than get a VPN that supports port forwarding. You'll have ...
