i figured out the problem, i had to open up all outgoing connection on my firewall.

i am having same exact issue,
i went through the forum ensured folders are all chown correctly.
port forwarding all done,

its veyr frustrating not able to find out the source problem, there is no version 2 for centos. so stuck with this torrent version,
