Re: Unofficial Deluge 2.0.x for Windows installer

... the client only sees about half of my saved torrents ... Just a thought: are you updating from an older build with Python 2? If so, try to delete the cached plugins in %localappdata%\Python-Eggs and see if that fixes it. Nope sorry didn’t work, and was using Py 3 I tried installing the new vers...

Re: Unofficial Deluge 2.0.x for Windows installer

I tried installing the new version with lt 1.2.10. Luckily I made a backup of both Deluge install folder, and AppData folder. Because after upgrading, the client only sees about half of my saved torrents. I don’t know why, the problem isn’t in the AppData folder, because running the old deluge.exe r...

Re: The truth about SOCKS5 proxy?

Several years ago Arvid the libtorrent author stated when I asked him about this: "This is only possible via UDP as far as I know. SOCKS5 BIND could in theory be made to work for accepting TCP connections, but it seems to have been specifically designed to support active mode FTP (i.e. it has ...

The truth about SOCKS5 proxy?

There are a lot of contradicting propositions out there. The consensus is that no proxy supports incoming connections. And that I'm delusional saying Deluge does that in fact. Checking Wireshark, all my connections (tcp, udp and BT) are to and from the proxy IP, including incoming. Inspecting the pa...

Re: [Plugin] ltConfig v2.0.0

I noticed that every option is tweakable in the webui :)

In the app tho, only field values are changeable, the checkbox "boolean" values don't work at all.. But they do work by changing the conf

Are they different interfaces? Like GTK3 vs, HTML/PHP or something?

Re: [Plugin] Pieces Plugin

I assume this plugin is outdated since 2.x and GTK3?

It might be a very handy tool if it works. Deluge is very powerful and fast, but its tools fall short when trying to analyze or diagnose errors in the BT protocol

Re: Deluge 2.0 Windows 7z-sfx-installer available.

Sweet patch mhertz. I'd like to add that with custom Windows 10 colors, the title bar is dark cyan for me (kinda like solarized) and fits in with the deluge gray very nicely. Are there any other tricks to make GTK play nice with Windows? It never remembers how I resized the components if I close and...
