Re: Connect directly to host with deluge-console?

I think I've answered my own question. I have been hacking around, so it's possible that something other than what I explain below, is responsible for the deluge-console connection now working. So YMMV. 1. Run deluge-console and confirm that you're able to connect to the host. 1.a. Add a connection ...

Connect directly to host with deluge-console?

Since upgrading from 1.3.15, I've found that when I run deluge-console , rather than connect straight to my daemon, I'm instead show a screen where I have to select the daemon. I've also tried using variations of deluge-console -d 127.0.0.1:58846 to connect directly to my preferred daemon but it's s...

Re: How can I use 2.1.x thin client setup on Debian 12?

I've not so much answered but rather sidestepped a few of my own questions or the points I raised in my first post. First of all for my fellow Debian 12 users, you can install newer versions of Deluge by adding the deluge team's Ubuntu PPA to your /etc/apt/sources.list . #Deluge PPA deb https://ppa....

Re: [Plugin] LabelPlus v0.3.2.2

Can new labels and sublabels be added by manually editing LabelPlus's .conf file? The reason I ask is that I have a labelling/sublabelling scheme that involves creating parent labels named after the YYYY year number. Then I create sublabels numbered from 01 to about 25. Each of this sublabels then h...

Script to check if files have been created yet?

I'm creating a Bash script that automatically creates hardlinks to torrent files. The thought occurred to me that one possible way that the script might fail to function as intended is if not all the files within the torrent have been created yet. By which I mean, if I was downloading a torrent that...

Questions regarding Deluge 2.x, Multi User support, and the console.

I'm looking into finally upgrading to 2.x, now that it and all the plugins I use are supported / up to date for both Linux and Windows. One of the things I've read in the release notes is that "multi user" support has been added. I've tried looking for more info in regards to what that act...

Re: Script to unpause torrent after X seconds and then recheck (Execute Plugin)?

After some bashing around, I've got the script working! Here are the details of my setup. 0. Deluge's global setting is to add torrents in an unpaused state. 1. The torrents are added automatically by YaRSS2. The YaRSS2 feed is set to add torrents in a paused state. 2. The newly added torrent has a ...

Re: Script to unpause torrent after X seconds and then recheck (Execute Plugin)?

[EDIT 2] The script below does not work but I'm going to leave it up in the hopes that it might prove educcationaal for fellow script noobs like myself. ----------------------------------------------------------- Here's the script I've created. I use the Execute plugin to run it when a torrent is ad...

Script to unpause torrent after X seconds and then recheck (Execute Plugin)?

Long story short, the way I have my torrents automated using the YaRRS2 and LabelPlus Plugins means that I have a problem with torrents being added by YaRRS2 to a default download location, and then moved to a location as dictated my my labels and sub-labels. As the torrents in question or periodica...
