Re: How to Run Deluge
Yes, I really meant the user 'deluge'. In any case I think I have it figured out now.

Setting Path when Creating Torrent File
I am trying to create a torrent using deluge-gtk and am having trouble with the path. I see no way to set the path to the target folder. After creating the torrent file I add it to deluge but it gets an error. The path displayed in the details is not the correct path for the torrent. It seems it for...

Re: How to Run Deluge
Thanks for the reply but I found that as well. It doesn't really explain how to enable deluge for all non-root users.

How to Run Deluge
I am having trouble understanding how to run deluge (CentOS 7). I thought 'deluged' should be started as root using it as a service. When I do that and run deluge-web, also as root, I am unable to connect or start the daemon as non-root. If I start deluge-web as non root, it will not start because a...

Re: Invalid Length of Torrent
Thanks for the reply. I did a force recheck but it seems like nothing happens. Shouldn't I see a progress bar while it checks?

Invalid Length of Torrent
I created a new torrent using deluge-gtk. When add that torrent to deluge for seeding, it shows the status invalid length of torrent. I have no idea what that means or how to try to fix it. Can someone help be create a valid torrent? TAI.

Re: Always Seeing Tracker Errors and No Seeders
I think I figured out what torrent aborted means. At least in this case is means the torrent ports are being filtered. It seems the VPNBook euro1 and 2 servers no longer exist and those were the only ones that had the ports enabled. I need to find a new unrestricted VPN server.

Re: Always Seeing Tracker Errors and No Seeders
I tried contacting VPNBook which I'm using but no response. As I said, I did do a port scan on my VPN IP and those ports are being filtered (if they are the right ones). I cannot find anything on the VPNBook web site about ports in the config file. Perhaps someone here has experience with VPNBook an...

Re: Always Seeing Tracker Errors and No Seeders
If this is a port mapping problem, what ports need to be mapped (6881-6889?) for deluge and to what base port? Perhaps this is an issue with my VPN server. If I run a port scan on the VPN IP address, the torrent ports are filtered.

Re: Always Seeing Tracker Errors and No Seeders
I re-checked the trackers and they are correct. I'm still seeing various tracker errors plus some announce OK. But no seeders.
