There is actually a pull request pending. Hopefully it will get merged soon.

I used to use the autoremove plus plugin to accomplish this but it appears that it is no longer compatible. Is there some other way to remove torrents based on seed time in Deluge v2?

Any chance this plugin will get updated for compatibility with Deluge v2?

Just to be sure, when you say standard port you mean 58846?

Try setting a simple password (1234) or similar and test.
