Re: Cannot Seed Completed Torrent

You should see some movement on the progress bar during a recheck. If it stays at 0% it isn't recognizing the data. Another test would be watch the HDD LED on your computer. A recheck is heavy on disk usage and should be a pretty much a steady on LED. Be sure you have read/write permissions on the s...

Re: Incoming Port Settings

If you are changing via the preferences pages restart deluge. If you are changing via the config file make sure deluge is shut down before editing it.

Re: Cannot Seed Completed Torrent

You do not want to use the create torrent function. That creates a completely new torrent with a different hash. You want to get a copy of the original .torrent file you used on your old client, add that to deluge then do the force recheck. I would also go into the preferences and set it to add new ...

Re: Help with auth file

I believe the auth file only applies to the thinclient setup. To set up the WebUI name and password open the config preferences and go down to the WebUI plugin and enable it and then go to the preferences section for the WebUI that will be created when you enable the plugin.

Re: Adding .torrents/Paths/Create .torrent Questions.

1) The preferences is the "default" location. Any new torrents added will bring up the selection window and you can change them for that specific torrent.

2) No idea. Probably just a bug-ish thing with the daemon/thin client setup.

Re: Shutdown PC after the torrent is downloaded

You might want to look into this plugin: https://forum.deluge-torrent.org/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=41165 I have never used it myself, but your request reminded me of an "issue" I read about a little while back which was the last post in that thread: https://forum.deluge-torrent.org/viewtopi...

Re: How to replace unfinished files with full files?

Be sure you are stopping the torrent before copying the data over the existing files and then do a force recheck. Maybe also take that partfiles and move that to somewhere else and delete it when you get things working.

Re: Some Basic Deluge Questions.

You can use anything you want for piece size. Smaller pieces will create more overhead and larger pieces will cause it to take longer for parts to start distributing themselves around between peers. Piece size is generally related to the total size of the torrent so you could look to other torrents ...
