Have you tried multiple trackers, to discount the possibility its tracker related? Is the tracker you are trying with SSL/HTTPS? Try editing tracker information to either add or remove HTTPS.

This is the 'proxy-control.conf' I use

Also - the best place to look is the nginx error.log. I dont know where this is on a windows system,in linux its in /var/log/nginx.

Deluge used to work fine with the same VPN. However, since a few weeks, the following happens. Whenever I start Deluge, initially it downloads very fast - up to 1 MiB/s. Then after a few seconds, it gradually slows down to max 30 KiB/s and stays there. Meanwhile, my entire Internet connection slows...

ktorrent / fedora is on another - more powerful - computer right? Synology is just a low powered NAS right?

Try reducing connections to something sensible in bandwidth, say 500.

The server block doesnt go in /etc/nginx.conf - tbh your nginx process probably isnt even running with the server block in it. The server block needs to be added to /etc/nginx/sites-available/default and is then sym-linked to /etc/nginx/sites-enabled/default (it probably already is symlinked!) Your ...

Are you sure the ports and forwarded correctly? As part of that check have you tried rebooting the router?

Have you installed the ltconfig plugin? When I have had this issue in the past I've solved it by installing this plugin and selecting the "High Performance Seed" option (you can make tweaks to this as well, for e.g. max downloads is only 3, so I increase this, and I manually change the use...
