I also manged it to upgrade to libtorrent 1.0.2 and uploads are quite fast now even with uTP.

thanks for your post! Seems like this fixed the slow upload performance. I also disabled the incoming utp connections and set the mixed_mode_algorithm ot 0.
Now uploads are fast

No improvement with libtorrent 1.0.1.0 Did anybody test version 1.0.2.0 ? This build is not in the libtorrent repository.
