Feature request: "Strip URLs from filenames"
Without a doubt my biggest current pet peeve with torrents is when release groups shoehorn their website URL into the actual filename of the files being downloaded. It was bad enough when there would be some web url appended to the end of the filename, but groups have started doing this at the begin...

Re: Can't connect to daemon on fresh server install
Thanks for the suggestions Shryp,
I seem to have gotten it working.
The missing piece of the puzzle seems to have been adding a user to the auth file, and then using those credentials for the login window.
Thanks again, good lookin' out homie

Can't connect to daemon on fresh server install [SOLVED]
I've just re-built my filesharing headless box on newer hardware and now I can't seem to connect to the Deluge daemon from remote hosts any more. The daemon is running on a fresh install of Linux Mint 18, on the filesharing machine (we'll call it Box_1 for now) (daemon version is whatever the linux ...

Re: Show/Hide main UI window with single click on tray icon?
Thanks for the suggestion. I'm using Linux Mint (which is based on Ubuntu). I tried un-checking the "Enable Application Indicator" option before making this thread. All it did was make the tray icon stop working altogether (even the right-click produced no results, including the right-clic...

Re: Deluge just stopped connecting to daemon [SOLVED]
Tried all kinds of google searches.. Those terms were part of one, didn't find any answers that fixed the problem for me.
Thanks for the suggestion though
Either way it's moot now as I've gotten it sorted out.

Show/Hide deluge with single click on tray icon [SOLVED]
Hi, I recently had to delete my deluge config and I'm trying to set it up the way I had it before. The one thing that I can't seem to figure out is how I managed to get deluge to show/hide the main window by single-clicking the tray icon. Before the config re-install if I left-clicked the tray icon ...

Re: Deluge just stopped connecting to daemon
SOLVED. (...sorta) I managed to get the deluge client on Computer B to connect to the daemon on Computer A again by simply deleting my ~/.config/deluge directory on Computer B, forcing the deluge client to create a fresh config on startup. This doesn't help explain why it suddenly stopped working be...

Deluge just stopped connecting to daemon [SOLVED]
I've been running deluge in daemon mode for a year or two now, and just this morning I stopped being able to connect on the computer I usually use to connect. There are two computers on my LAN, both on the same subnet. Computer A runs the daemon, Computer B is the one I typically use as my desktop m...
