New Install of Ubuntu 16.04 + Deluge issues
Hi, 1) Deluge. Every so often, the screen will freeze, and go dark. No abort, but I cannot see any progress as the screen is frozen. I can tell via the System Monitor app that the data is still being downloaded. With no abort, I cannot give you any details... sorry. I have to 'force close' this app ...

Re: New Install cannot associate magnet links to Deluge
All, I found an answer, though it puzzled me when I read it. I was attempting to get Ubuntu Linux to 'connect' Magnet links to Deluge. It does have a link to Transmission, which is installed as a default. There is a 'way' to connect to Deluge and disconnect from Transmission, by pointing the connect...

New Install cannot associate magnet links to Deluge
I installed Ubuntu 14.04.1 including Deluge. This was NOT an upgrade, but a fresh install. I am having some odd issues. Most important is when I click on the magnet link in Firefox, what comes up is expecting Transmission, not Deluge. I have tried clicking the button in Preferences / Other which is ...

Re: Export, then import queue of downloads?
Thanks for the help. I think I found it: home/.config/deluge/state In the 'state' directory I found a lot of files ending ".torrent", when I looked into one of them I recognized one of the downloads I have queued up. I have made a copy of the /state directory and I am hopeful this ends thi...

Re: Export, then import queue of downloads?
I did searches and did not get a response that made sense. Remember, I am looking for where the queue of downloads is kept. You have pointed me to the configuration file, I followed the link you gave, and tried to find ".config/deluge" and got nothing. I am assuming it is someplace else, a...

Re: Export, then import queue of downloads?
Sorry, I am NOT doing a simple upgrade, in place. In fact, I seldom do that. I prefer installing from 'scratch', as the time in between one install and the next I have learned something that tells to do the next one a bit differently. Sometimes this difference is in response to changes made in the n...

Export, then import queue of downloads?
All, I am about to upgrade Ubuntu to the newest version. But I have a bunch of downloads already 'queued' within Deluge. The result of the upgrade will require installing applications, like Deluge. The result will be the complete loss of downloads incomplete, or not yet started, and I have to search...
