Re: Adding two torrents for the same file but diffrent trackers

Of course it is. You're describing how it's implemented now, but that doesn't mean it have to work like that. Or is there something in the standard that prevents the client from treating two torrents with the same infohash as individual torrents? If so please enlighten me.

Re: Adding two torrents for the same file but diffrent trackers

Sorry for the necro-thread, but I have this issue as well still in 2017 with deluge 1.3.15, and would very much like to hear the developer's stance on this problem.

Re: Questions about the UI - daemon communication protocol

I can answer 3 for you. Saying that "all communication between the GTK UI and daemon is encrypted" is misleading. The certificate is generated automatically and is self-signed, so it can per definition not be validated, so it can just as easy be a man-in-the-middle trying to intercept your...

Deluge Web TLS not working with certificate chains

Hi! I'm going to try to keep this short. I'm trying to add a certificate chain to the deluge web UI, the subject certificate concatenated with a intermediate certificate, as is standard. I've successfully verified the separate files using the ``openssl verify" utility. $ openssl verify -verbose...

Deluge silently ignores torrent with same hash

OS: Ubuntu 14.04 LTS Deluge version: 1.3.11 Current behavior: When trying to add a torrent with the same hash (but not the same trackers) as a already existing one, first the add torrent dialog will show up as usual, but any settings you do there will have no effect. When finishing the dialog and ad...

[BUG] Logs get overwritten on each (re)start

I'm running Deluge 1.3.11 from the PPA provided on this site on Ubuntu 14.04 (Trusty). Everytime deluged or deluge-web is (re)started it writes over the content of its respective logfile without backing it up first. This is not the behavior the user expects, especially since the user guide suggest u...

Re: Upgrade linux install of deluged

Any particular reason why you don't just use the official ppa?

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:deluge-team/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install deluge

Column order not persisted between sessions

Hi, I've only just started using Deluge as my main torrent client. I'm running a daemon on a separate computer (Ubuntu 12.04.3) on my LAN and several clients, Windows 7 PC and a Lubuntu 12.04 laptop. All use Deluge 1.3.6, the linux versions are installed via the official ppa and the Windows 7-versio...

Re: Deluge on Windows, seeding from NAS

Sounds to me you're using one computer to download the files and another one to store your files, which is wasteful. I'm guessing your using SAMBA (aka Windows file sharing) to connect to your NAS, and SAMBA was not designed to handle the kind of I/O activity that a torrent client generates. What ki...
