Request: Check file / folder rights and inform user

Deluge seems to ignore silently problem when rights to the file(s) are too limited. Deluge should inform user about missing file rights and maybe give possibility to correct issue.

Re: Deluge 1.0: problems with very big torrents (checking files)

Pause doesn't help with this issue. I examined the folder that contained files for the problematic torrent and file rights were set by me to maximum on earlier phase. I don't know which rights set is enough for Deluge. Maybe rights set was root reason for checking the same torrent always when Deluge...

Yes, the torrent can be downloaded from Pleasuredome. http://full.pleasuredome.org.uk
It requires registration and the name of the torrent is: [FREE] MAME 0.128 ROMs (you will be able to see the torrent when registered).

Re: Deluge crushes when loading torrent file.

Give a try for 1.0.2 package on Deluge download page. Repository version might be outdated and therefore you should try current version.

Re: Deluge 1.0.2 32bit Ubuntu Hardy: deluged is zombie process

I waited about 15 minutes and after that torrent was added. This issue was probably caused by huge torrent again, have to be patient . Size of the torrent 11,326 items, totalling 5.4 GB. This is anyway a bit annoying because I have again to add all torrents and check them, it takes several hou...

Deluge 1.0.2 32bit Ubuntu Hardy: deluged is zombie process

Argh, I updated Deluge 1.0.2 but still experienced problems with 32bit Ubuntu Hardy. Old torrents are not on list (list is empty). I tried to add torrents again for seeding purposes but only result was some sort of lockup. 1. Start Deluge -> ok 2. Add torrent from file -> deluge cpu load is over 80%...

Interesting, I'll test this pause thing if it helps :).

Re: 1.0.1 Ubuntu Hardy. No torrents able to be added

I can confirm this with 32bit version on Ubuntu Hardy. All previous torrents lost and I cannot add a new torrent.

Deluge 1.0: problems with very big torrent checking

This problem still exists, Deluge jams system almost every time when it is started. Gnome panel and desktop simply doesn't respond to mouse commands. I quit deluge properly with quit command from menu. Despite of that same torrent is always checked through when deluge is started again. Any ideas?
