How do i make Deluge Windows portable with settings intact??? I have a memory stick and i dont want to be able to have to enter in my proxy over and over and over and over and over and over and over again! how can i make it so that i dont have to do that, and so that if i open it on my memory stick i can somehow direct the settings file to say "E:\deluge\delugesettingsorwhateveritscalled.whatevertheextension(dat?) ?????

If anyone can help me I would be soooooooo grateful

well, you have to be a developer, first and foremost. if you're not, you wont be able to do this. if you are, then you just have to edit deluge's source code to store its settings to a relative path, instead of a fixed path. you'll need to edit core.py and pref.py for this to happen. then you compile deluge for windows, which you can find info at http://www.slurdge.org/deluge-on-windows

I'm not so good with the whole source code thing and I was wondering if you could edit it so that the settings could be stored in C:\delugesettings
I have a program that copies all my apps to C:\apps and I want to have deluge to work with out me entering all the settings every single time!
So if you could help me out (since you are a developer) that would be great... Thanks

even easier, you could put in a request at portableapps.com. they do a good job of building portable versions of a lot of opensource apps
