new-user: seeding to lots of leechers, but nobody connects

I am using deluge 2.0.3 on debian bookworm.
I have over 20 files I am seeding and there are lots of leechers (> 20) visible, but they only connect for a few seconds, don't download anything and then disconnect.
I can't find anything on this forum to help me get some leeches connected so I can finish seeding and delete the torrents and the files.
Any suggestions?

Thanks for any help.

forgot to mention that over the course of a week, I do get some connections and I do upload some data, but mostly I have very few connections.
I have a 50Mbps connection and it is not throttled.

These look strikingly like public torrents which lie and fill their swarms with fake users and stuff.

Also, people who are partially seeding torrents will appear as leechers, rather than seeders. That number does not mean they are actively downloading,

Check with https://portchecker.io to see if your outgoing port is accessible.
