install the plugin total traffic to monitor the amount of upload, stats is handy too. If there is no request on the torrent you have you won't upload but this way you can have an historic.

I am uploading now but how do I know or make sure they are uploading to the torrent site I want and use?

Remove any trackers you don't want to participate to (edit trackers option in contextual menu).

done that.
still nothing. I have torrents uploading but not getting credit for it. Ratio is not increasing.
Have I missed something? Missed a spot to check?

So only the concerned tracker is present for each torrent?
If you are on a private tracker, DHT should be disabled. Can you confirm it is?

So no extra traffic out of your tracker. Ask maybe to the admin of the tracker

I meant asking on the website you take torrent from. If it's a private tracker with ratio constraint you have to be registered. there is certainly a forum or similar no?
